MNP for all Malaysian

Malaysian Government had decide to go for
MNP System for all Malaysian to
have a better and QUALITY choice for telco service.

What is MPN?


MNP = Mobile Number Portability

Mobile number portability (MNP)
refers to the right of customers to retain their mobile number when changing their
mobile carriage service provider (CSP),
regardless of whether this involves a change in carrier network.

DiGi - 016, 014-32, 014-35, 014-30, 014-31 and 014-6

maxis - 012, 017 and 014-2

celcom - 013, 019 and 014-8

u mobile - 018.

With minimum payment of RM25.00,Malaysian are now
able to make a quality and benefits choice without tossing their previous
Mobile Number.

    Why Celcom? Hardly hear from / read about people wanting to port over to Celcom. To Maxis or Digi, quite a number, but Celcom, almost none.

    Digi is a better choice currently, if you ask me. As they are offering the lowest call rate and also gives out the most rewards or airtime at the same time. Moreover, more and more people are using 016, with Friends & Family, its even cheaper within own Digi's network.

    As for Maxis, their lousy customer service has put off many newer generation customers. Do a quick glance at Lowyat Forum's MNP thread, a lot of forumers are porting to Digi.

    I currently own service provide by Maxis,Digi,and now,lates,celcom,sothe comparison can be seen clearly,hmm,well,celcom
    as a postpaid number,it seems to be worthy!
